An advanced program focused on integrating medical support into tactical and special operations. Topics include operational planning, casualty management in austere environments, medical threat assessments, mission support, evacuation considerations, and coordination with law enforcement, fire, and rescue partners.
TECC prepares responders to provide lifesaving trauma care during civilian high-threat incidents using nationally recognized principles. Participants learn rapid assessment, hemorrhage control, airway management, casualty movement, and treatment priorities across direct threat, indirect threat, and evacuation phases. Sierra Center for Readiness is a recognized training partner of the Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care .
This nationally recognized bleeding control program teaches immediate lifesaving interventions for severe bleeding. Participants practice tourniquet application, wound packing, and direct pressure techniques to stabilize injured patients until advanced medical care arrives.
